MILLORA LA TEVA INTERPRETACIÓ EN ANGLÈS!

English Club està dirigit a persones adultes amb qualsevol tipus d’experiència; des de principiants en la posada en escena que volen millorar les seves habilitats parlant en públic en anglès mentre aprenen les bases de la interpretació teatral, fins a actrius i actors que volen explorar eines noves i conegudes en una llengua estrangera. Totes les experiències són benvingudes, ja que hi haurà treball individualitzat sobre l’objectiu de cada estudiant.

El curs es centrarà en la veritat i credibilitat transmeses a l’escenari en la nostra pròpia llengua i en com transportar-les a un àmbit anglosaxó. Per aconseguir-ho, el treball sobre diferents textos (guions, obres de teatre, monòlegs, discursos, etc.), l’anàlisi de diferents actuacions i la gravació de les dels mateixos estudiants serà essencial.

Methodology

The division of the course subjects will be defined by three blocks:

The first of them will focus on theatrical improvisation, linguistic dynamics and acting games which will allow the students gain fluency in English and confidence performing in a foreign language.
The second block will be dedicated to the analysis of each student’s way of acting and method, and the keys to read a text in English and really understand what it is telling us in order to apply it to our body language. By recording a monologue in the student’s mother tongue, we will be able to learn what makes it natural and believable and apply it to future recordings in English.
Finally, the third block will consist on the recording of those performances in English and the rehearsal of a recorded monologue that serves the student as they prefer: showreel, audiovisual CV, pitch, etc.

The course, except from the first monologue, will be taught entirely in English.
